In 2014, Julien-Félix Carrier joined the multidisciplinary Pyrotech BEI team. He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and, in 2008, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Université Laval.
As a forensic engineer, Julien Félix produces expert reports on disasters related to storm water management affecting buildings or infrastructure. His areas of expertise include hydraulic analysis of projects, civil works and improvements, hydrological analysis of weather events, damage to infrastructure caused by the instability of the ground as well as the qualitative analysis of building materials.
Previously, Julien Félix worked in the field of water resource management and in the quality control of construction materials. Because of these responsibilities, he acquired knowledge in modeling and design of drainage systems and hydraulic structures, in design of plans and estimates for civil infrastructure, in analysis of hydrological events as well as in standards and methods of setting up building materials. His 11 years of engineering experience ensures you quick technical answers to questions relating to civil engineering.
In his spare time, Julien Félix likes rock climbing, economics and geopolitics.
