Vincent Guérin-Simard

In November 2023, Vincent Guérin-Simard joined the multidisciplinary Pyrotech BEI team. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Laval University in Quebec in 2010.

During the three years preceding his arrival at Pyrotech BEI, Vincent worked as a project engineer within a manufacturer of large capacity energy storage modules, for public utility companies. He participated in the installation of large-scale projects, including a site to supply the entire village in Haute-Mauricie, during the loss of the electricity network.

Previously, he was a commissioning engineer for a ski lift manufacturer, which offered turnkey projects across the country. In this company, he was responsible for the design and implementation of control systems. This field experience gave him knowledge in both electrical engineering and automation and control.

Finally, he worked for an energy efficiency firm as a designer, which gave him a solid foundation in building electricity and HVAC.

As part of our team, Vincent uses his diverse expertise by carrying out investigations into the cause of various types of fires.

In his spare time, Vincent loves exploring the backcountry, whether downhill skiing, cross-country skiing or mountain biking. He also likes to let off steam during hockey games in a friendly league.
